Dear colleagues, we cordially invite you to participate in the international conference, ‘Soil Health and Stability under Global Change’, organised in the frame of the Alliance of International Science Organisations in the Belt and Road Region.
The conference will focus on issues of relevance to soil science and ecology, such as soil monitoring technologies, the stabilisation of soil organic matter, and the functioning of soil biota in the context of global change. The programme will include the following scientific sessions:
- The condition and stability of soils in different ecosystems under the anthropogenic impact
- Methodological aspects and results of monitoring soil health and greenhouse gas emissions in terrestrial ecosystems
- Organo-mineral interactions in soil and the role of microorganisms in soil organic matter stabilization
