Three young scientists from the Pushchino Scientific Center for Biological Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences have become laureates of the Moscow Region Governor's Prize. The award ceremony took place in the Regional Government House on December 5.
‼Three employees of the Federal Research Center "Pushchino Scientific Center for Biological Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences" have become laureates of the Moscow Region Governor's Prize in the fields of science, technology, engineering and innovation for 2024.
The winners of the competitive selection included young scientists from three separate divisions of the Pushchino Scientific Center for Biological Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences:
- Elena Sergeevna Krivina, Candidate of Biological Sciences, G.K. Scriabin Institute of Biochemistry and Physiology of Microorganisms of the Russian Academy of Sciences;
- Elena Gennadyevna Varlamova, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Institute of Cell Biophysics of the Russian Academy of Sciences;
- Dmitry Aleksandrovich Khoroshaev, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Institute of Physicochemical and Biological Problems of Soil Science of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Prizes for young scientists and specialists in the fields of science, technology, engineering and innovation for 2024 were awarded to 14 laureates and one team of two authors. The awards were presented to the winners by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow Region Ekaterina Zinovieva, according to the website of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow Region.
“The presentation of the Governor's Prize is a recognition of the merits of young scientists and specialists who make a significant contribution to the development of science and technology in our country. Achievements were assessed taking into account the priorities of the region, the novelty of developments and results. The amount of each prize is 700 thousand rubles. The awards were received by young scientists and specialists working in the field of chemistry, physics, biology and technical sciences,” said Ekaterina Zinovieva.
The competition was open to young scientists and specialists who participated individually or in a team of up to five people. Achievements were assessed taking into account the priorities of the region, the novelty of developments and results. The winners were awarded 15 prizes of 700 thousand rubles, the regional Ministry of Investment reports.
